When I was little I always wanted to look like Barbie & pretended it was me driving that cute little sporty corvette around the living room floor. And then I grew up. I was a wall flower, always plain in my eyes, & realized that Barbie was just an image the world wants us to believe we are supposed to look like. Well guess what. Most of us don't. But that doesn't mean we are any less beautiful or have any less value than the gorgeous models we look at in a magazine.

After studying photography, do you know what I learned? Even the skinny-mini models of this world typically aren't happy with the way they look. And the way they look in the photos we so admire is not what they look like in every day life. You see, there is a secret. It's a big secret! It's called corrective posing, corrective lighting, & Photoshop. What a beautiful combination. The models use it, & so can we. There are things each of us can do to enhance our natural beauty. And I'm not talking about going on a diet, or getting a face lift. Once you learn these secrets in our studio, I bet you start using them the next time a camera points in your direction & I bet you'll start liking the way you look more & more in all of your photos.

The way we are positioned & the way we let light fall on us can make a huge difference in our appearance. Before we begin, we will explain some basics of these techniques & then we will expand on these throughout your session. Once your part of the photo session is complete, our work continues.
